I am a member of the British Grooms Association, as well as being an active member of my local pony club, The Cumberland Foxhounds, which has enabled me to gain my full 'B' test and pass the Lunging exam. I am currently working towards my 'A' Test, the highest accolade in the Pony Club. I am the members representative for my pony club. I am the member that other members can approach with feedback about our club activities. I then take this feedback to the monthly committee meetings. I also run the Cumberland Foxhound Pony Club website to try to encourage our large number of members to interact with each other and keep the family atmosphere as our club gets nearer 100 members. Through the Pony Club i have been CRB checked to work with children.


I have competitive experience within the following organizations: British Eventing, British Show Jumping Association, British Show Pony Society, Ponies (UK), Northern Counties Ponies Association, Coloured Horse and Pony Society, Pony Club, and British Riding Clubs. I have competed from local level to national level.

(Full run through of full horse make over with instruction, and demonstration and teaching of the 3 different method of plaiting)


Horse Sitting                                                                                                                                                                                               

Full Cover: £25 for first horse, £10 for each additional horse

(Morning and night visit, muck out, feed, water, forage, groom, turn out, catch, rug change)


Grass Cover: £18 for first horse, £8 for each additional horse

(Checked twice a day, water, rug change, pick feet out, feed, forage)


Extra Hands Cover: Basic rate of £8 for first horse then £4 for each horse after that, (price may vary depending on time/job requirements. Petrol costs are charged for fully on this service at 40p/mile. Please enquire for a detailed quote.) 

(Help to get your horses ready for visits by the farrier, vet, horse dentist, massage therapist etc, and to hold them while the job is done, then settle them back down afterwards)

*Exercise is an extra cost and is charged dependent on chosen form of exercise. (See prices above as a guide).

**Skipping out of paddocks is extra cost, charged at £8 per hour.

***All bedding, forage, feed, and equipment to be supplied by the animals owner.

All prices include travel costs up to 10 miles (worked out using AA travels route planner from CA12 4PY, to destination). For all locations outside the 10 mile area travel costs are added on at 40p per mile.
